Rowed Kill

Time Trial: 1500m Row

Hate the strict press and it hates me... warmed up with 10x45 and 95x5 then did 115x5, 125x4, and 130x1.5 (I think that's how it all went down).

The 1500m row was a lesson in pain management. It was a Pass/Fail course... think I failed. I wanted to keep a 1:40 split avg, but stayed at 1:43 the majority of the time (always sub 1:45). This was a pretty comfortable pace and I was actually able to speed up in the last 300m to finish strong(ish). Pulled a 5:10:2. The goal next time will be to nab a sub-5min.

5 Thrusters* (start from the ground each rep)
10 Ankles to bar

*Increase thruster weight by 10 pounds each set

Need to work on those get-ups... Dunno why they feel so awkward. Maybe because they're Turkish?

One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest

For Time:
95# Thrusters, 100 reps
At the start of every minute you must complete 5 burpees

We had a 20 minute cut-off. Yeah, that's right... 20. That means I did 100 burpees because I sure as shit didn't skip a round. Unfortunately, I only pushed out 66 thrusters. I didn't feel good about this at the time, but looking back I realize I did some work. Still want to hit the 100 mark though. Think next time I'll start with 5 thrusters every minute and ride out the 20 minutes. Geez, I can't wait for my next chance to hit 100 thruster and 100 burpees in 20 minutes... I must be losing my mind.

Naw, just learning to beat it into submission.
